This Privacy Policy explains how Fully Torqued Applications ("we", "us"), the data controller, handles information in connection with the Word Unscrambler tool (the "Service") at fullytorquedapplications.com/word-unscrambler.
1. Information we process
- Letters you type: the Service runs entirely in your browser. The letters and filters you enter are processed locally to search a built-in word list and are not transmitted to our servers or stored by us.
- Consent choice: your cookie choice is stored in your browser's
local storage (key
ftq_consent_v1) so we do not ask again on every visit. - Advertising & analytics data: if you consent, our advertising partner (Google) may process device and usage data, including your IP address, as described below.
2. Cookies and consent
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Advertising and analytics storage default to denied until you choose. For visitors in the EEA and UK, consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). Selecting Accept allows personalized ads and measurement; selecting Reject keeps tracking storage denied, and ads (if shown) are limited and non-personalized. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display ads through Google AdSense. When enabled and permitted by your consent, Google and its partners use cookies and identifiers to serve and measure ads, and may process your IP address and device information. 4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
For visitors in the EEA/UK, our legal bases are: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for advertising and analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating, securing, and preventing abuse of the Service, where these do not override your rights.
5. Data retention
We do not retain the letters you enter — they never leave your device. Your consent choice is kept in local storage for up to 180 days, after which you are asked again. Any advertising/analytics data is retained by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy and your Google account settings.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent (GDPR/UK GDPR). EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection supervisory authority. Because we do not collect personal data directly, most requests concern Google's ad cookies — withdraw consent via Cookie Settings and use Google's controls linked above.
U.S. residents (including California's CCPA/CPRA): personalized advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out by selecting Reject in the consent banner or via Cookie Settings. To contact us about any request, email goldfingerfif@gmail.com.
7. International transfers
Our advertising partner Google operates globally and may process data in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
